Responsibilities
The Software Development Engineer is a hands-on developer specializing in Java development with a particular focus on developing event driven applications and improving operability of existing applications.
What you will do:
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to keep operations first
• Good understanding of data structures & algorithms and their space & time complexities
• Strong hands-on and practical working experience with – Java
• Excellent coding skills – should be able to convert design into code fluently
• Strong technical aptitude and a good knowledge of CS fundamentals
• Write modular, extensible, readable and performant code
• Focus on code quality, writing unit test cases, considerations towards choosing the right data structure
• Collaborate with teams by contributing to the shared vision and working closely with cross-functional stakeholders
• You will be responsible for the API’s you (and or your team) build and will support them till the time they are live in production
