Luxoft is seeking a seasoned Performance Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune. In this role, you will collaborate closely with talented software developers to create new APIs and ensure the smooth functioning of existing ones within the Azure environment. Your expertise will be pivotal in developing and executing performance testing strategies to guarantee the scalability and reliability of our applications.
🧩 Key Responsibilities

Requirement Analysis: Understand non-functional requirements (NFRs) by reviewing documentation and engaging with business and platform owners.

Scenario Identification: Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to identify critical business scenarios.

Test Strategy Development: Prepare comprehensive performance test strategies and plans tailored to project needs.

Communication: Maintain regular communication with business and development team managers through daily and weekly reports.

Script Development: Develop test scripts and model workloads to simulate real-world usage.

Test Execution: Conduct various performance tests, including sanity, load, soak, and stress tests, as required by the project.

Monitoring: Coordinate with relevant teams (developers, infrastructure, etc.) to monitor core applications during test execution.

Result Analysis: Execute tests, analyze results, and prepare detailed test summary reports.
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
Educational Requirements:

Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:

Years of Experience: Minimum 6 years in performance engineering.
Technical Skills:

Performance Testing Tools: Expertise in Microfocus LoadRunner and Apache JMeter.

Programming/Scripting Languages: Proficiency in C/C++, Java, Perl, Python, and SQL.

Platform Experience: Proven experience in performance testing across multiple platform architectures and technologies, including microservices and REST APIs.

Cloud Environments: Exposure to projects involving migration to cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.

Visualization Tools: Familiarity with open-source data visualization tools.

APM Tools: Experience working with Application Performance Management tools like AppDynamics.
Preferred Skills:

Domain Knowledge: Experience in the banking sector.

Project Management Tools: Familiarity with Jira and Agile methodologies.

Monitoring Tools: Knowledge of Grafana for performance monitoring.
