Job Description

As a Performance QE Engineer, I specialize in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of applications through robust performance testing strategies. With hands-on expertise in Apache JMeter and other performance testing tools, I design and execute tests that simulate real-world user loads, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable insights to improve system performance.

In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using JMeter.

Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests to assess system behavior.

Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations.

Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Document performance benchmarks, findings, and improvement plans for stakeholders.

Contribute to continuous improvement of performance testing frameworks and best practices.
