Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts for web and API-based applications using Java and Selenium.

• Execute end-to-end functional, regression, and performance testing to validate application stability and reliability.

• Collaborate with development teams to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring faster and error-free deployments.

• Create and manage detailed test plans, cases, and test data to achieve comprehensive test coverage.

• Perform API testing using Postman and RestAssured to validate request/response payloads and backend logic.

• Conduct unit and integration testing using frameworks like TestNG or JUnit for continuous validation of code quality.

• Identify, document, and track defects with detailed logs, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with developers.

• Utilize tools like JMeter or Gatling to assess performance, scalability, and load-handling capabilities.

• Participate in code reviews and provide QA feedback during all stages of software development.

• Stay updated with emerging automation tools, frameworks, and testing methodologies to continuously enhance QA practices.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Experience: 5+ years in software quality assurance, including at least 3 years in automation or SDET roles.

• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and test frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.

• API Testing: Hands-on experience with REST API automation using Postman and RestAssured.

• CI/CD Integration: Experience automating tests within DevOps pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bamboo.

• Performance Testing: Working knowledge of JMeter, Gatling, or equivalent tools to assess application scalability.

• Problem Solving: Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes quickly.

• Soft Skills: Strong communication, analytical thinking, and collaboration skills to work effectively in agile environments.

• Development Awareness: Understanding of software development practices, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies.

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.

• Preferred Traits: A self-starter mindset, eagerness to learn, and the ability to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies.
