Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation and Manual Testing Trainer to join our team in Pune on a full-time, hybrid model. This role is designed for professionals with a strong background in manual and automation testing who are passionate about teaching, mentoring, and sharing their expertise. The trainer will be responsible for delivering engaging, hands-on training sessions to students, freshers, and working professionals, covering both theoretical and practical aspects of software testing.

As a trainer, you will work closely with learners to help them build solid foundations in manual testing, automation frameworks, and modern QA tools. You will be expected to design interactive training modules, create real-world projects for practice, and ensure that learners gain industry-ready skills. This role also involves staying updated with the latest testing trends, tools, and frameworks to deliver relevant, up-to-date content. Your contribution will directly shape the careers of aspiring QA engineers and help organizations upskill their workforce.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Deliver high-quality training sessions on Manual Testing concepts, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Jira/Bugzilla, and other QA tools.

2. Teach software testing fundamentals, test case design, execution, and defect reporting aligned with industry standards.

3. Introduce learners to Agile practices, including Scrum, sprint planning, and continuous integration testing.

4. Design and update training content, assignments, and projects to reflect current industry trends and tools.

5. Conduct practical sessions, live demonstrations, and hands-on exercises to reinforce learning.

6. Monitor learner performance, assess their progress, and provide constructive feedback to improve their skills.

7. Mentor students on interview preparation, resume building, and problem-solving strategies for real-world projects.

8. Stay updated with advancements in automation tools, frameworks, and CI/CD practices to deliver the latest knowledge.

9. Support learners in setting up environments, resolving technical issues, and practicing automation scripts.

10. Maintain training reports, attendance, and feedback data for continuous improvement of the program.

Requirements & Eligibility:

1. 2–4 years of professional experience in manual and automation testing across web or mobile applications.

2. Minimum 2 years of experience delivering technical training in software testing or QA-related subjects.

3. Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts, test case writing, defect life cycle, and SDLC/STLC processes.

4. Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, and bug tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla.

5. Good understanding of Agile methodology, sprint planning, and regression testing practices.

6. Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills to engage learners effectively.

7. Ability to design training content, create real-world examples, and explain complex concepts in a simplified way.

8. Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.

9. Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.) and integrating automation into DevOps workflows is preferred.

10. Self-motivated, patient, and passionate about guiding students and working professionals to achieve career success.

Expected Salary:
The salary range for an Automation and Manual Testing Trainer in Pune typically falls between ₹3.6 LPA and ₹6.0 LPA depending on experience, technical expertise, and training delivery skills. Trainers with advanced automation knowledge and exposure to performance testing tools may receive compensation at the higher end of the range.
