Job Description

As part of EPAM’s global delivery teams, you will work in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and fellow QA engineers. You will contribute to the full testing lifecycle, from requirement analysis and test design to execution, defect analysis, and continuous improvement. The role emphasizes strong hands-on automation skills combined with analytical thinking and ownership of quality outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced automated test solutions using Python and Selenium.

• Create detailed test cases, test plans, and automation strategies aligned with functional and non-functional requirements.

• Utilize Pytest and BDD-oriented testing approaches to improve automation efficiency and maintainability.

• Perform API and service-level testing by validating SOAP and REST-based integrations within test environments.

• Analyze automation results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to drive resolution.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation, including test cases, checklists, and execution reports.

• Work effectively within Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.

• Validate data integrity and backend behavior using SQL queries against Oracle or other relational databases.

• Continuously improve automation frameworks, test coverage, and execution stability.

• Stay updated on emerging automation tools, frameworks, and best practices to enhance overall test quality.

Requirements & Eligibility

• 5–9 years of professional experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation.

• Proven proficiency in Python for automation testing, including hands-on experience with Pytest and Selenium.

• Strong understanding of software testing principles, test design techniques, and debugging practices.

• Experience working with relational databases, preferably Oracle, and writing complex SQL queries.

• Familiarity with API testing concepts and exposure to REST Assured is an added advantage.

• Working knowledge of SOA architecture, including SOAP and REST services.

• Experience with SFTP, shell scripting, and handling large datasets in test environments.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum teams and adapt to rapid development cycles.

• Good command of written and spoken English (B2 level or higher).
