Roles & Responsibilities

• Contribute to the creation and enhancement of JavaScript-based test automation solutions aligned with existing frameworks.

• Analyze current automation setups and introduce architectural, performance, and maintainability improvements.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for UI and API testing.

• Port and refactor legacy test cases into modern automation solutions while improving structure and reusability.

• Build stable and scalable integration and regression test suites with high reliability.

• Identify gaps in test coverage and design new automated scenarios to mitigate quality risks.

• Coordinate and mentor test automation engineers, supporting onboarding and skill development.

• Collaborate with QA Managers to align automation priorities with delivery timelines and strategic objectives.

• Work closely with business analysts and development teams to ensure timely delivery with expected quality.

• Proactively suggest improvements in test design, code structure, and automation best practices.

Requirements & Eligibility

• 5–9 years of overall experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation.

• Minimum 2.5–3 years of hands-on experience in JavaScript-based automation testing.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for test automation development.

• Experience with modern UI automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Puppeteer, Mocha, Chai, or Jest.

• Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO and browser-based automation strategies.

• Solid experience in API automation testing and test strategy definition.

• Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks.

• Experience writing clear test cases and aligning automation with functional requirements.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional and global teams.
