EPAM – .NET Automation Test Engineer

Job Description

EPAM Systems, a global leader in digital platform engineering and software development, is looking for a passionate .NET Automation Test Engineer to join our growing Quality Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated test scripts using .NET, C#, Selenium, and RestSharp, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical software systems.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts in .NET/C# for both API and UI layers.

• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test data to validate system requirements.

• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure test coverage across all functional and non-functional areas.

• Perform in-sprint automation and integrate automated suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bamboo).

• Implement design patterns (Page Object Model, Factory, Singleton) for scalable automation solutions.

• Discover, log, and track defects using industry-standard tools, ensuring timely resolution.

• Monitor and improve QA metrics (test coverage, defect density, execution rate).

• Stay up-to-date with modern automation frameworks, tools, and strategies.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives) and provide quality feedback.

• Collaborate with global teams, contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions, and mentor junior QA team members when required.

Requirements & Eligibility

• 3–5 years of experience in test automation, with a strong focus on .NET and C#.

• Proven expertise in UI automation (Selenium with C#) and API automation (RestSharp).

• Experience with NUnit, MSTest, TestNG, or BDD tools like SpecFlow.

• Solid understanding of testing principles, SDLC, STLC, defect management, and Agile methodology.

• Hands-on experience with in-sprint automation and CI/CD integrations.

• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and patterns (Page Object, Factory, Singleton).

• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication skills, with B2+ English proficiency for collaborating with global stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jenkins, Bamboo, Git, Azure DevOps.

• Knowledge of performance testing basics or exposure to tools like JMeter.

• Understanding of microservices testing and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
