Responsibilities
A QA Tester is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications by identifying bugs and verifying that systems meet defined requirements. Their duties include analyzing user stories and system specifications, creating detailed test plans and test cases, and executing both manual and automated tests. QA Testers document and report bugs, collaborate with developers to resolve issues, and re-test fixes to ensure accuracy. They may also be involved in performance and security testing, depending on the project needs. Additionally, they contribute to continuous improvement by providing feedback, maintaining test documentation, and actively participating in team meetings and Agile processes to support the development lifecycle.
