About the Role

Merkle, a customer experience transformation company under Dentsu, is hiring a QA Analyst in Pune. This role is ideal for professionals with solid experience in full-stack testing, automation, and API validation. You will work in a distributed, Agile team environment, ensuring high-quality digital commerce and enterprise solutions.

The position focuses on testing Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)-based systems and composable, microservices-driven architectures. You will validate frontend, backend, APIs, and database layers while contributing to both manual and automated QA processes. Strong collaboration skills are essential, as you will coordinate across global teams and time zones.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and execute manual and automated test cases for full-stack applications.

  2. Perform frontend, backend, API, and database testing.

  3. Conduct API testing using Postman and Rest Assured.

  4. Build and maintain automation scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

  5. Validate Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) implementations.

  6. Test composable architecture and microservices-based systems.

  7. Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Retrospectives).

  8. Document test plans, cases, and defect reports clearly and concisely.

  9. Coordinate testing efforts across distributed global teams.

  10. Use Git and test management tools for version control and tracking.

Must-Have Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field.

  • 3+ years of QA experience in full-stack applications.

  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies (manual & automation).

  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).

  • API testing expertise (Postman, Rest Assured).

  • Automation tools: Selenium / Cypress / Playwright.

  • Familiarity with Git and Agile/Scrum.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • ISTQB or Agile Testing certifications.

  • Performance testing with JMeter or Gatling.

  • Security testing basics (OWASP Top 10).

  • Knowledge of AWS / Azure / GCP test environments.

  • Experience with TestRail or Zephyr.

  • Cross-browser and cross-platform testing background.

Expected Salary in Pune

For a QA Analyst with 3–6 years of experience in Pune, the typical salary range is:

₹7 LPA – ₹14 LPA

Compensation may vary depending on Salesforce Commerce Cloud expertise, automation depth, and performance/security testing exposure.
