In this role, you will lead quality assurance efforts for fullstack applications, covering frontend interfaces, backend services, APIs, and databases. The position emphasizes optimizing testing strategies through automation, process improvements, and modern QA tools. You will be responsible for embedding quality into CI/CD pipelines, enabling faster feedback cycles and early defect detection. By guiding QA teams and coordinating with distributed stakeholders, the Lead QA ensures consistent quality delivery across complex and evolving systems.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end quality assurance activities across frontend, backend, APIs, and database layers to ensure complete coverage and system reliability.

Define and implement test strategies, frameworks, and best practices aligned with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Drive automation initiatives using modern tools to improve regression efficiency and reduce time-to-release.

Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to integrate quality early in the development lifecycle.

Perform and oversee API testing to validate business logic, data flow, and service integrations.

Manage and coordinate outsourced or distributed QA teams across different time zones to maintain consistent quality standards.

Review test plans, test cases, and defect reports to ensure clarity, accuracy, and traceability.

Analyze defects, identify root causes, and work with engineering teams to ensure timely resolution.

Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated test execution and monitoring test outcomes across builds.

Mentor junior QA engineers, promoting quality ownership, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
Requirements & Eligibility:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, providing a strong technical foundation.

5+ years of experience in software quality assurance roles, with exposure to both manual and automated testing.

At least 2 years of experience leading QA initiatives for fullstack applications involving UI, backend, APIs, and databases.

Strong expertise in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, with hands-on framework design experience.

Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured to ensure data accuracy and service reliability.

Practical knowledge of CI/CD integration using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI for continuous test execution.

Proficiency with version control systems like Git and familiarity with Agile or Scrum development processes.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.

Ability to create clear and concise test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
Expected Salary:
