🧠 Responsibilities

• Design and develop accurate and comprehensive manual and automated test cases based on software requirements.

• Ensure test coverage includes positive, negative, exception, integration, and system-level scenarios.

• Log, track, and resolve bugs efficiently with proper documentation of defects and root cause analysis.

• Validate software functionality against major architectural and business requirements.

• Conduct performance and stability testing using relevant tools.

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and system engineers to ensure software quality.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automation frameworks.

• Participate in scrum meetings, reviews, requirement analysis, and test planning discussions.

• Analyze production issues and provide detailed bug reports and quality feedback to stakeholders.

• Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation for all test activities.

✅ Qualifications

Must Have:

• 1 to 4 years of experience in software testing (manual + automation).

• Hands-on experience in writing functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.

• Working knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or Python for automation scripting.

• Proficiency with tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

• Familiarity with automation frameworks like Cucumber, Codecept.js, or Serenity BDD.

• Experience with JMeter or equivalent tools for performance testing.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to provide clear, actionable reports to senior stakeholders.

Good to Have:

• Understanding of TDD/BDD models, cloud platforms (preferably Azure).

• Knowledge of volume/load testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with JIRA, Git, or other version control and tracking tools.
