Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with Java for web-based applications.

• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and QA leads to design robust testing strategies aligned with business goals.

• Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring all test phases meet defined quality standards.

• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support rollout processes to ensure seamless product delivery.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear, executable test scenarios and cases.

• Identify defects, document issues, and perform root cause analysis to recommend effective resolutions.

• Ensure traceability and coverage between requirements, test cases, and results.

• Create, monitor, and maintain quality metrics and dashboards to measure testing performance and outcomes.

• Work within Citi’s compliance framework to ensure that all testing activities adhere to regulatory and corporate standards.

• Provide mentorship and informal guidance to junior testers and team members on automation best practices.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

• 5–8 years of proven experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation, particularly using Selenium with Java.

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and software testing processes.

• Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for large-scale enterprise applications.

• Knowledge of version control tools, defect tracking systems, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Ability to analyze requirements, identify potential risks, and communicate discrepancies effectively.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a methodical approach to testing.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with global teams.

• Experience in the financial services industry or exposure to fintech systems is highly preferred.

• A proactive attitude toward continuous improvement and learning emerging test automation technologies.
