Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive automated testing frameworks for web, API, and integration layers.

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to translate requirements into effective test cases and acceptance criteria.

• Write, execute, and maintain automated scripts using tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and JUnit.

• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI to enable continuous testing and faster deployments.

• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and provide detailed reports to aid in faster resolution.

• Contribute to code reviews, share best practices, and mentor junior team members on automation standards.

• Perform REST API testing and integrate results into existing test suites to ensure seamless system interactions.

• Continuously optimize and refactor test scripts for scalability, performance, and maintainability.

• Collaborate across teams to ensure compliance with quality, security, and performance benchmarks.

• Stay updated on new technologies, testing methodologies, and emerging industry standards to proactively improve automation practices.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Strong programming knowledge in Java, including OOP principles, exception handling, and collections framework.

• Proven hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation testing.

• Solid understanding of testing frameworks like TestNG or JUnit for efficient test management.

• Experience with different types of automation frameworks such as data-driven, keyword-driven, and hybrid.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent to integrate testing pipelines.

• Practical knowledge of REST API testing and experience integrating it within automation frameworks.

• Exposure to cloud environments like AWS or Azure is an added advantage.

• Knowledge of unit testing tools such as JUnit or Mockito, with the ability to write reliable unit tests.

• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills to quickly resolve complex technical issues.
