You'll lead the development of automation testing frameworks and strategies that ensure the delivery of robust, user-centric, and secure web and API applications. 🧠 Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, or JUnit.

  • Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and manual testers to identify automation opportunities and improve test coverage.

  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies—including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

  • Analyze requirements, write detailed test plans and test cases, and ensure full traceability to business objectives.

  • Execute automated tests in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.

  • Perform REST API testing using tools like Postman and validate back-end integration.

  • Conduct root cause analysis of failures and work with developers to resolve defects.

  • Monitor test coverage, assess risks, and recommend process improvements.

  • Contribute to code reviews and help maintain the test automation framework.

  • Stay up to date with the latest testing trends, tools, and best practices.

🛠 Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5–8 years of experience in QA/Automation Testing, especially for web-based platforms.

  • Proficiency in Java or Python, with strong understanding of OOP principles.

  • Advanced knowledge of Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress or similar.

  • Hands-on experience in API testing and automation using Postman or RestAssured.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

  • Deep understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

  • Experience working across multiple devices, browsers, and platforms.

  • Strong debugging skills and analytical mindset.

  • Good documentation habits with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and TestRail.

  • Knowledge of Cloud platforms like Azure.

  • Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter.

  • Experience with dockerized environments and containerized testing.

  • Exposure to mobile automation and cross-browser platforms like Sauce Labs.

  • Understanding of security and compliance requirements in FinTech.

💰 Salary Expectations:
Based on industry benchmarks and Pune’s IT market, Barclays offers:
₹18,00,000 to ₹28,00,000 per annum, depending on automation experience, tech stack, and domain expertise.
