As a Data Analyst at Barclays, you will be at the forefront of driving data governance and analytics across global operations. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive data and records governance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Monitor and analyze data quality metrics across systems, ensuring compliance with governance policies and raising alerts for deviations.

• Lead the remediation of regulatory findings by improving controls, governance tools, and reporting processes.

• Design and execute a records management program covering identification, classification, retention, storage, and disposal of records.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data lineage, ensuring accuracy and traceability across business streams.

• Provide guidance and training to teams on compliance with Data and Records Management standards.

• Conduct risk assessments, identify control gaps, and propose improvements to mitigate governance-related risks.

• Partner with senior stakeholders to influence governance strategy and align it with broader business objectives.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies in data governance, tooling, and analytics, applying them to strengthen the organization’s data ecosystem.

• Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement in data management practices.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Strong expertise in data governance, records management, and data control frameworks.

• Experience in data products, data warehouses, and cloud-based data platforms.

• Proven background in regulatory reporting and working in regulated environments with a strong understanding of compliance standards.

• Knowledge of data lineage methodologies and tools, with the ability to implement sustainable frameworks.

• Proficiency in data analytics, reporting, and insight generation for business decision-making.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to build collaborative relationships with global teams.

• Ability to lead or contribute to large-scale projects involving multiple teams and high governance standards.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to creatively address data-related challenges.

• Familiarity with risk management, governance controls, and change management practices.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Expected Salary:
