Amdocs, a global leader in software and services for communications and media companies, is looking for a seasoned Senior Test Engineer to join its Pune team. This is an exciting opportunity for telecom testing professionals to lead cutting-edge projects, working with Amdocs’ top-tier clients and its suite of mission-critical products like CRM, Ordering, Billing, and Digital platforms.

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will take ownership of the test lifecycle for large-scale telecom projects, ensure top-notch quality standards, and act as a mentor to junior testers. You will be central to enabling digital transformation by validating high-performance systems for the 5G and cloud era. This role blends hands-on testing, team leadership, and collaboration with internal and client stakeholders — all while working in a diverse, innovative environment.

Roles & Responsibilities
Own end-to-end test planning, design, execution, and reporting for assigned telecom projects

Develop and review detailed test designs, scenarios, and test cases based on product requirements

Perform test execution and defect validation, ensuring alignment with the expected project timelines

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive testing quality across modules such as CRM, Billing, Ordering, and EOD/EOC processes

Mentor and lead a small team of testers, promoting a culture of collaboration, quality, and process optimization

Maintain comprehensive test documentation and status reports for stakeholders

Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure delivery of high-quality outcomes

Leverage automation and DevOps practices where applicable to boost test efficiency

Engage in continuous improvement efforts for testing methodologies, frameworks, and tools

Requirements & Eligibility
Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in telecom testing

Strong domain expertise in telecom workflows and business processes

Proven experience with Amdocs product suite:

CRM, Ordering, Digital, Billing, End of Cycle (EOC), End of Day (EOD), AMDD Validation

Solid understanding of software test lifecycle, defect management, and reporting

Excellent skills in test planning, execution, documentation, and stakeholder communication

Ability to multitask, work under tight deadlines, and maintain accuracy in high-pressure environments

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to automation frameworks and DevOps/Agile practices

Testing certifications such as ISTQB or equivalent

Familiarity with automation tools for regression and integration testing
