As a DevOps Engineer at Amdocs, you will play a crucial role in designing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise-grade infrastructure systems that support mission-critical telecom and digital services. Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and administer enterprise-class storage, SAN, and backup environments.

• Manage and maintain data center infrastructure including storage, servers, SAN, backup, and networking components.

• Perform performance analysis, capacity planning, and troubleshooting across storage and SAN systems.

• Administer storage platforms such as Dell EMC, Hitachi, HP 3PAR, and Infinidat.

• Manage Cisco MDS SAN environments and ensure reliable connectivity and performance.

• Support Linux and VMware ESX environments from an infrastructure operations perspective.

• Implement and support disaster recovery design and execution to ensure business continuity.

• Develop scripts and automation using Shell, Python, or Perl to optimize storage operations and monitoring.

• Collaborate with global teams to support incidents, changes, and infrastructure enhancements.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation strategies, and operational best practices.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in storage administration within enterprise environments.

• Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux server platforms and system administration fundamentals.

• Proven experience with SAN design, implementation, and administration.

• Hands-on exposure to storage and backup planning, design, and implementation.

• Experience with Dell EMC, Hitachi, HP 3PAR, or Infinidat storage platforms.

• Knowledge of Cisco MDS SAN administration and storage networking concepts.

• Familiarity with VMware ESX and data center virtualization environments.

• Scripting skills in Shell, Python, or Perl to support automation initiatives.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and relevant storage or SAN certifications is an added advantage.
