Job Description:
Alstef Group, a global leader in designing and integrating automated turnkey solutions for airports, intralogistics, and parcel handling markets, is hiring a Senior Automation LLC Engineer (F/M) for its Pune location. This is a high-impact role where you will contribute to the development of state-of-the-art automation systems that deliver efficiency, scalability, and innovation for clients worldwide.

In this role, you will work on PLC/SCADA software development, testing, and commissioning of automated baggage and material handling systems. You will also prepare detailed technical documentation, support system maintenance, and contribute to the design of applications and components. Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain advanced PLC and SCADA software for automated baggage and material handling systems.

2. Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for systems and processes.

3. Design and execute test procedures to ensure system reliability and performance.

4. Conduct on-site commissioning of automation systems, including international project deployments.

5. Provide technical support for installed systems and troubleshoot issues as needed.

6. Collaborate with design teams to contribute to application and component design improvements.

7. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen projects to drive innovation.

8. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.

9. Act as a technical mentor for junior engineers and team members when required.

10. Present technical data and project updates clearly and professionally to stakeholders.

Requirements & Eligibility:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems, or Mechatronics Engineering.

2. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in PLC/SCADA automation development.

3. Strong technical proficiency in PLC, HMI, and SCADA software development across multiple vendor platforms.

4. Solid understanding of IT networks, operating systems, distributed computing, and application development.

5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in complex system design.

6. Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to cross-functional teams and clients.

7. Previous experience in baggage or material handling automation systems (preferred but not mandatory).

8. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for project implementation and commissioning.

9. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

10. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
