Job Description:

Adani is offering an exciting opportunity for aspiring engineers to launch their professional journey as Graduate Engineering Trainees (GET) within the Smart Metering Projects Division. This role is ideal for individuals eager to contribute to India’s evolving energy and utilities landscape by participating in large-scale infrastructure projects such as MSEDCL Package 6. The position focuses on operational excellence, governance, compliance, and digital innovation across critical engineering initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support the end-to-end execution of Smart Metering projects, ensuring compliance with timelines, quality, and cost objectives.

  • Assist in preparing cost-effective and competitive project proposals, optimizing value delivery and business impact.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Finance, Compliance, IT, and Operations to ensure seamless project coordination.

  • Participate in the implementation of Integrated Project Management Software, enhancing project visibility and control.

  • Analyze market and operational data to identify risks, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements.

  • Work alongside the AMI Strategy team to contribute to innovative smart metering and automation solutions.

  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory, safety, and quality standards across all project phases.

  • Support project managers in monitoring performance indicators, resource utilization, and project documentation.

  • Facilitate communication with vendors, utilities, and government bodies, ensuring compliance with tender and delivery terms.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and technical excellence across project teams.


Requirements & Eligibility:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering from a recognized university.

  • MBA preferred, especially with a focus on Operations, Project Management, or Energy Systems.

  • 0–5 years of experience in engineering, utilities, or power infrastructure projects (fresh graduates encouraged to apply).

  • Strong understanding of project management principles, including cost estimation and workflow planning.

  • Exposure to Smart Metering, AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure), or digital energy systems will be an advantage.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a structured approach to technical challenges.

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and project management software for reporting and tracking deliverables.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proactive mindset with a commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow within Adani’s high-performance engineering ecosystem.


Expected Salary:
