Key Responsibilities

• Framework Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium.

  • Customize Playwright’s default reports and libraries to align with project requirements.

  • Automate workflows and enhance existing frameworks for efficiency.

• Test Case Automation:

  • Create, execute, and maintain automated test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.

  • Ensure comprehensive coverage for Web UI, APIs, Mobile Apps, and Salesforce applications.

• CI/CD Integration:

  • Integrate automation test suites with continuous integration/delivery pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).

• Test Data Management:

  • Implement effective test data creation and provisioning strategies.

• Troubleshooting & Reporting:

  • Identify, debug, and resolve automation-related issues.

  • Generate detailed test reports, analyze results, and recommend process improvements.

• Collaboration & Mentorship:

  • Work closely with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers.

  • Mentor junior team members and promote automation best practices.

• Innovation:

  • Explore new tools, frameworks, and processes to enhance test automation efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5–7 years in software testing, including 5+ years in test automation using Java.

• Automation Tools: Expertise in Playwright, Selenium, and Cucumber.

• Programming Languages: Strong in Java and JavaScript (knowledge of other functional languages is a plus).

• Testing Areas: Proven experience in Web UI, API, Mobile, and Salesforce testing.

• Database: Skilled in PostgreSQL and Snowflake, with proficiency in writing SQL queries.

• Cloud Knowledge: Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) for automation testing; understanding of AWS architecture best practices.

• Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall testing methodologies.

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Attributes

• Knowledge of mobile app automation tools (e.g., Appium).

• Ability to customize Playwright frameworks and generate advanced automation reports.

• Experience with continuous testing and DevOps pipelines.

• Proactive approach to innovation, quality improvement, and mentorship.

Expected Salary

The salary range for this role typically falls between ₹12.0 LPA – ₹18.0 LPA, depending on the candidate’s technical expertise, automation framework experience, and cloud proficiency (AWS).
