Qualitest Group – Techno Functional Analyst

About the Role

Qualitest Group is seeking a highly skilled Techno Functional Analyst with extensive experience in automation testing to join our dynamic QA team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure software quality across multiple platforms, including mobile applications. Your work will directly support UI and API automation efforts while integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab and Jenkins.

This role is ideal for professionals who combine strong technical expertise in Playwright (Python/Java/JavaScript) with a deep understanding of functional requirements and business processes. You will collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define test scenarios, execute automation strategies, and continuously enhance testing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation Framework Design: Develop and maintain scalable and reusable automated test frameworks using Playwright across Python, Java, or JavaScript.

• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into GitLab and Jenkins pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster release cycles.

• UI & API Automation: Execute automated test cases for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of web, mobile, and API services.

• Mobile Testing: Conduct robust mobile testing for iOS and Android platforms, ensuring app functionality and performance meet quality standards.

• Defect Analysis & Collaboration: Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate closely with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.

• Process Improvement: Continuously enhance test automation processes and strategies to improve effectiveness, maintainability, and coverage.

• Mentorship & Guidance: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior automation engineers, supporting their development and adoption of best practices.

• Emerging Trends: Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and industry standards in automation testing, incorporating innovative approaches into workflows.

Minimum Qualifications

✅ Experience: 5+ years in automation testing with UI, API, and mobile testing expertise.
✅ Mobile Testing: Strong proficiency (4/5) in mobile application testing for iOS and Android platforms.
✅ Playwright Expertise: 4/5 proficiency in Playwright using Python, Java, or JavaScript.
✅ Automation Skills: Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining robust test frameworks.
✅ CI/CD Integration: Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Jenkins.
✅ Collaboration Skills: Ability to work with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical insights.
✅ Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes.
✅ Leadership Skills: Capable of mentoring junior team members and driving best practices in automation testing.

Expected Salary (India Market)

💰 Salary Range: ₹12 – ₹20 LPA
(Salary may vary based on Playwright expertise, mobile testing proficiency, and experience in automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.)
