Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) is seeking enthusiastic Associate Software Engineers as part of its Campus Hire program for the 2025 engineering graduates. 🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related engineering discipline (2025 graduate). -
Technical Skills:
• Foundational knowledge of SQL and relational databases (RDBMS).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: C, C++, Java, PHP, or Python.
• Basic understanding of software development concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix command-line environment is a plus. -
Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving mindset.
• Effective communication skills—able to collaborate with teammates and articulate technical ideas clearly.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies, adapt to change, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
🧩 Job Responsibilities
Software Development:
• Write, review, and maintain code in one or more languages (C, C++, Java, PHP, Python) for client applications and internal tools.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to understand requirements, participate in design discussions, and implement software features.
Database Management & SQL:
• Use SQL and relational databases (RDBMS) to build, query, and optimize data storage solutions.
• Assist in designing database schemas, creating stored procedures, and writing complex queries for data retrieval and reporting.
Quality Assurance & Testing:
• Participate in test planning and execution for both manual and automated test cases.
• Use basic testing frameworks to write scripts that validate software functionality, report defects, and follow through defect resolution.
Production Support:
• Monitor production systems, respond to system alerts, and troubleshoot issues under the guidance of senior support engineers.
• Perform root cause analysis of incidents, document findings, and implement fixes or workarounds to minimize downtime.
Agile Collaboration:
• Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings in an agile environment.
• Maintain proper version control using Git or similar tools, ensuring clean code merges and adherence to branching strategies.
Continuous Learning & Documentation:
• Follow coding standards, best practices, and participate in peer code reviews.
• Document technical workflows, solutions, and knowledge-transfer articles for team use and future reference.
