Job Description

Bank of America is offering an exciting apprenticeship opportunity for final-year engineering students to begin their career within the Global Technology division. This role provides a hands-on learning experience where apprentices will be immersed in end-to-end software development, design, testing, integration, and deployment for large-scale banking and financial platforms. As part of Bank of America’s Global Business Services ecosystem, apprentices gain exposure to world-class technology stacks, enterprise systems, and innovative digital banking solutions that support millions of customers across global markets.

This apprenticeship is designed to develop strong technologists who aspire to build impactful careers in software engineering, cloud technologies, data engineering, and AI-driven enterprise platforms. You will collaborate with global teams across APAC, EMEA, and AMRS, working on mission-critical use cases in banking, trading, risk management, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to convert them into clear design specifications and process enhancements.

• Develop clean, efficient, and testable code, perform unit testing, and support smooth integration into enterprise banking systems.

• Participate in CI/CD development cycles including pull requests, branching, issue resolution, and release/documentation activities.

• Support data collection, processing, model documentation, and contribute to building insights that enhance system efficiency.

• Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) exercises to explore innovative solutions or reduce risk in product development.

• Ensure all deliverables align with required performance, security, compliance, and quality standards.

• Work closely with cross-regional development teams and business stakeholders to understand technology requirements across different domains.

• Identify, troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve technical issues to maintain system stability and performance.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Education: Final-year B.Tech/B.E students graduating in 2026 only.

• Specializations: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related technology fields.

• Academic Criteria: Minimum 80% or 8.0 CGPA in the last semester with no backlogs.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong foundation in programming, data structures, design patterns, and SDLC.

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, C++, or C#/.NET.

  • Basic understanding of distributed systems, application frameworks, and databases.

  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix, Agile methodology, JIRA, Excel, and process improvement.

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Adaptability to ambiguity and dynamic project needs.

  • High ownership, curiosity, and willingness to learn and innovate.

• Good to Have:

  • Exposure to AI/ML development, cloud technologies, and automation.

  • Analytical and quantitative skills with a creative mindset for solution-building.

Expected Salary
