Qualitest Group – Automation Engineer

About the Role

Qualitest Group is seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team onsite at the client location in Noida. This role is perfect for professionals who excel in test automation frameworks, API automation, and have hands-on expertise in Java and Selenium. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality by designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites, performing API validations, and delivering robust test results that align with client expectations.

You will work on challenging projects that require strong problem-solving skills, debugging expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with developers and stakeholders. This is a full-time opportunity for an automation engineer who is passionate about quality engineering and eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test scripts using Selenium and Java.

• API Automation: Perform API-level testing using RestAssured and other relevant tools, ensuring proper coverage and validation of services.

• Debugging & Troubleshooting: Utilize tools like Charles and Fiddler to debug APIs and identify issues quickly.

• Regression & Smoke Testing: Build and maintain automated regression and smoke test suites to ensure consistent product quality.

• Database Validation: Use MongoDB or MySQL to validate backend data integrity and perform necessary database checks.

• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA leads, and product owners to resolve defects, improve coverage, and ensure timely releases.

• Reporting: Generate and share detailed test execution reports with stakeholders, highlighting coverage, defects, and recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications

✅ Experience: 4+ years in test automation and API automation.
✅ Core Skills:

• Rest Assured (4/5) for API automation.

• Java + Selenium (3.5/5) for UI automation.

• Communication (3/5) – ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.
  ✅ Technical Knowledge: Strong expertise in automation frameworks, debugging tools (Charles, Fiddler), and backend database testing.
  ✅ Location: Willingness to work full-time at the client site in Noida.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional automation tools such as Appium and JMeter.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) for integrating test automation pipelines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to mentor junior team members on automation best practices.

Expected Salary (India Market)

💰 Salary Range: ₹8 – ₹14 LPA
(Compensation will be based on Java/Selenium proficiency, API automation expertise, and client-facing communication skills.)
