Job Role: Software Quality Engineer

As a Software Quality Engineer at Adobe, your mission will be to ensure the highest quality standards in Adobe’s products. You will design, develop, and execute testing plans and strategies — combining automated and manual testing to deliver seamless software experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans and execute them for new software features.

• Write and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and JUnit.

• Perform manual testing to catch complex issues automation might miss.

• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand product requirements and deliver feedback.

• Identify, document, and track defects clearly to help developers fix bugs quickly.

• Participate actively in Agile development processes including sprint planning and reviews.

What You Need to Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.

• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, TestNG, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and software development lifecycle.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
