Global Payments: Associate Software Engineer

Global Payments, under its TSYS brand, is hiring Associate Software Engineers to join their Application Systems Development team in Noida, India. This is a full-time opportunity for freshers and entry-level developers to work in a dynamic global fintech environment.

As an Associate Software Engineer, you'll be involved in designing, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software applications using a range of backend and frontend technologies. You’ll gain hands-on experience working across the software development lifecycle and learn how to develop high-quality solutions in a secure, scalable, and performance-driven environment.

This role is ideal for recent computer science graduates looking to launch their tech careers with one of the world’s most trusted payment technology companies.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and implement software components using front-end or back-end technologies

• Write and maintain clean, efficient code according to project specifications

• Work on various internal and external client software platforms

• Assist in code testing, validation, debugging, and documentation

• Collaborate with internal teams to analyze existing systems and recommend improvements

• Learn and apply company development standards including PCI compliance

• Build technical documentation and participate in implementation plans

• Contribute to building scalable, secure, and reliable applications

Requirement & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Basic understanding of programming concepts and software development lifecycle

• Exposure to at least 1-2 programming languages such as Java, Python, .NET, or JavaScript

• Knowledge of database fundamentals and ability to write basic SQL queries (Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL)

• Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, JavaScript, or frameworks like React or Angular is a plus

• Understanding of REST APIs, version control systems (Git), and development tools (Eclipse, VS Code)

• Good logical reasoning, problem-solving mindset, and communication skills

• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced team environment

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)

• Exposure to CI/CD tools or version control platforms (GitHub, GitLab)

• Basic knowledge of cloud environments, mobile app development (iOS/Android), or machine learning tools

• Familiarity with Linux/Windows OS environments

Expected Salary for this Role
💰 ₹4 LPA – ₹6.5 LPA (based on industry averages for entry-level roles at global fintech firms, with references from AmbitionBox & Glassdoor)
