Roles & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate deep expertise in cybersecurity principles, technologies, and industry trends to communicate the value of Cisco’s security portfolio to prospective clients.

  • Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations tailored to each client’s architecture, challenges, and strategic priorities.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding their security goals and mapping them to relevant Cisco solutions.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of client environments to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Recommend customized cybersecurity architectures and best practices aligned with client goals and industry standards.

  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, product management, and marketing teams to align customer needs with Cisco’s solution roadmap.

  • Support proposal development, technical documentation, and solution design during the pre-sales cycle.

  • Capture customer feedback and emerging threat trends to influence product enhancements and strategic initiatives.

  • Participate in internal knowledge-sharing, mentoring, and continuous learning to maintain expertise in Cisco’s evolving security offerings.

  • Represent Cisco as a trusted technical advisor, promoting diversity, inclusion, and equitable solutions within client security strategies.


Requirements & Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

  • Proven experience in pre-sales, technical sales, or consulting roles within the cybersecurity domain.

  • Strong foundation in cybersecurity concepts, frameworks, architectures, and modern security technologies.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to simplify technical topics for diverse audiences.

  • Ability to understand diverse customer needs and integrate D&I principles into their cybersecurity transformation journeys.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of proposing innovative and effective security solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients and internal cross-functional teams.

  • Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent credentials showcasing expertise in security.

  • Ability to work onsite full-time in Mumbai and engage effectively with regional teams and global stakeholders.

  • Growth mindset with a willingness to continually learn, adapt, and stay updated on emerging cyber threats and technologies.
