Swiggy: Data Scientist-I (Freshers)

👩🏻‍💻 Key Responsibilities:

• Build and enhance ML-based ad recommendation models to improve campaign performance.

• Analyze Swiggy’s massive datasets to extract insights and ideate new ML solutions.

• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and analysts to deploy end-to-end ML inference solutions.

• Stay updated on the latest research in bidding algorithms and recommendation systems.

• Communicate your findings through internal and external forums.

• Develop, deploy, and optimize machine learning and deep learning models at scale.

• Own projects from ideation to production with measurable business impact.

✅ Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics).

• Experience: 0–3 years in Data Science, AI, ML, or related domains.

• Core Skills:

  • Strong Python, SQL, Spark, TensorFlow skills

  • Experience with machine learning and deep learning techniques

  • Ability to translate business problems into ML models

  • Good communication (verbal and written)

• Nice to Have:

  • Experience in eCommerce or logistics

  • Familiarity with Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, or NLP

  • Proven experience building production-level ML models
