ServiceNow is looking for a skilled Software Quality Engineer to join its Engineering, Infrastructure & Operations team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be instrumental in elevating software quality by maintaining and enhancing automation test frameworks, designing comprehensive test plans, collecting quality metrics, and collaborating with developers to ensure seamless delivery of new features. Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain, enhance, and optimize existing automation testing frameworks to improve efficiency and reliability.

• Collect, analyze, and report on quality metrics from test executions to drive continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with development teams to craft targeted testing strategies for new features.

• Create, execute, and automate comprehensive test plans that cover all testing phases.

• Support engineering teams during troubleshooting activities, resolving application or environment bottlenecks.

• Leverage industry-standard tools (IDEs, debuggers, build systems, profilers, source control) and ServiceNow instances to streamline testing workflows.

• Apply a mix of testing techniques—unit, integration, performance, and automated testing—to validate software quality.

• Introduce AI-based tools and automation into workflows to boost testing efficacy and problem-solving capabilities.

• Work in an agile software development process, providing continuous feedback and enhancements.

• Document test strategies, share best practices, and mentor peers on quality assurance techniques.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance or related roles.

• Strong technical skills in Java development, and familiarity with JUnit, Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.

• Demonstrable experience with automation testing frameworks and agile testing methodologies.

• Ability to analyze, assess, and apply various testing types—including performance, integration, and system testing.

• Proficiency in using development tools like IDEs, debuggers, build tools, and Unix system utilities, along with version control systems.
