🧩 Job Description

As a Software Engineer (Campus Hire) at Qualcomm, you will work on the design, development, and integration of high-performance software components for Qualcomm’s chipsets and platforms.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects ranging from multimedia processing, wireless communication, IoT, to platform-level software like Linux/Android drivers and device firmware.

🔧 Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Developing real-time embedded software, system firmware, and device drivers

• Writing and testing mobile software for platforms like Android, Linux, and Windows

• Working on communication protocol stacks, network standards, and connectivity modules

• Designing software for AR/VR, smart assistants, connected devices, and more

• Participating in full SDLC: requirements, architecture, implementation, and validation

• Innovating within areas like modem tech (LTE, GSM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth), multimedia codecs, and image/audio processing

• Languages: C, C++, Java

• Concepts: Object-Oriented Design, Data Structures, OS fundamentals

• Tools/Tech: Embedded Linux/UNIX, Kernel Programming, BSPs

• Networking Protocols: TCP, UDP, IP, SIP, RTP

• Education: B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech

• Streams: Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Communication Engineering

💰 Compensation & Benefits

• Expected Salary Range: ₹6 LPA – ₹14 LPA (depending on role, location, and technical interview performance)

• Employment Type: Full-Time (Post Internship / Graduate Offer)

• Internship Stipend (if applicable): ₹25,000 – ₹40,000/month
