You will work closely with developers, product owners, and other QA professionals to validate web applications and APIs, ensure early defect detection, and enable shift-left testing practices. Your contributions will directly impact release confidence, system stability, and customer satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Execute end-to-end UI automation testing to validate functionality, usability, and cross-browser behavior.

• Perform API automation testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, and Rest Assured.

• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and define effective test strategies.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery.

• Apply Agile, DevOps, and shift-left testing practices to identify defects early in the development lifecycle.

• Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with developers to resolve issues efficiently.

• Maintain test documentation, automation assets, and execution reports to ensure traceability and quality metrics.

• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to continuously improve quality processes.

• Communicate testing status, risks, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders across technical and business teams.

Requirements & Eligibility

• 3–5 years of professional experience in QA and test automation roles.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Playwright and JavaScript or TypeScript for UI automation.

• Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar tools.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

• Solid experience in API testing using Postman, Swagger, and Rest Assured.

• Good understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and shift-left testing concepts.

• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC with the ability to design effective test strategies.

• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Ownership mindset with proactive approach toward quality and continuous improvement.

Expected Salary
