Role Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Java Engineer to join our Hyderabad development team. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Java 21, Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud-native application development. You will be working on enterprise-grade systems for the banking and financial services domain, designing scalable solutions and optimizing performance for high-traffic environments.

The role also involves close collaboration with DevOps, AI, and architecture teams to integrate cutting-edge tools and frameworks that enable continuous delivery and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and microservices using Java 21, Spring Boot, and related technologies.

• Implement system architecture solutions that support business-critical applications in the financial and enterprise sectors.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and cloud architects to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems with a focus on modern distributed architectures.

• Work with message brokers and streaming systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Cassandra for real-time data processing.

• Deploy and monitor applications in AWS, Azure, or OpenShift environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Participate in Agile processes such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily scrums, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

• Mentor junior developers, share best practices, and contribute to technical documentation and design reviews.

• Apply design patterns and DevOps practices to enhance maintainability and automation across systems.

• Leverage performance tuning and monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus to proactively address bottlenecks.

Technical Skills Required:

• Programming: Java 21, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Batch, Microservices, JPA, Hibernate

• Databases: Oracle 23, MySQL, Cassandra, Redis, Liquibase, HikariCP

• Cloud & DevOps: AWS (EC2, Lambda), Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Jenkins, Docker, Kafka

• Tools & Frameworks: Grafana, Prometheus, RabbitMQ, WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, Git, Jira

• Development Practices: Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Design Patterns, Performance Optimization, CI/CD Automation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 3+ years of professional experience in backend Java development, preferably in the banking, fintech, or enterprise software domain.

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native design principles.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Exposure to AI-driven systems, DevOps pipelines, or data-driven architectures is a plus.
