Amazon’s Trustworthy Shopping Experience (TSE) Operations Analytics Team is seeking a talented Business Analyst I to join its growing Hyderabad office. This role is designed for professionals who have strong analytical skills and a passion for uncovering insights from large and complex datasets. As a Business Analyst I, you will play a critical role in identifying trends, detecting risks, and presenting data in a way that enables faster, smarter decision-making. You will work closely with product owners, program managers, and technical teams to design and implement scalable data solutions. Your ability to translate business requirements into actionable dashboards, reports, and visualizations will help drive operational efficiencies across global teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Collect, analyze, and transform large datasets into meaningful business insights that support global operations.

2. Work with product owners and stakeholders to define requirements and create reports that answer key business questions.

3. Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and data visualizations to provide clear, actionable insights.

4. Perform deep-dive analysis to identify root causes, patterns, and risks affecting operational performance.

5. Own the design, creation, and management of scalable datasets that drive analytics across multiple business areas.

6. Ensure data accuracy and consistency by building robust pipelines, monitoring processes, and applying best practices.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build data solutions that improve decision-making and efficiency.

8. Translate analytics findings into practical recommendations for business and product improvements.

9. Manage competing priorities and adapt to evolving requirements in a fast-paced environment.

10. Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies, methodologies, and tools to enhance reporting capabilities.

Requirements & Eligibility

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or a related quantitative field.

2. At least 2 years of experience in an analytical role within finance, operations, or a related business domain.

3. Strong expertise in SQL and ETL processes to manage and manipulate large datasets.

4. Proficiency in advanced Excel, including VBA macros, pivot tables, and automation for reporting efficiency.

5. Experience in defining requirements, analyzing business processes, and drawing insights from data-driven metrics.

6. Familiarity with large-scale data handling and database management.

7. Working knowledge of BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau, QuickSight, or Power BI.

8. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to handle ambiguity.

9. Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and present data findings effectively.

10. A results-driven, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Expected Salary

For the role of Business Analyst I at Amazon Hyderabad, professionals can expect a salary range of ₹8 LPA to ₹13 LPA, depending on prior experience, analytical expertise, and technical proficiency.
