RELX is looking for a dedicated and skilled Quality Test Engineer II to join its technology and engineering division based in Gurgaon, India. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about software testing and quality assurance with a strong foundation in automation frameworks, programming languages like Java or Python, and a desire to drive process improvements.

As a Quality Test Engineer II, you’ll be instrumental in supporting cross-functional teams by enhancing testing processes, participating in quality reviews, and driving initiatives that directly impact software delivery. Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2–4 years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of Java or Python and object-oriented design principles.
Proficiency in automation testing using Selenium, TestNG, and Maven.
Experience in RESTful API testing, performance testing (JMeter), and database testing (SQL).
Familiarity with Git, Agile development methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Drive QA methodology improvements and ensure adherence to quality standards. Collaborate with internal teams to support the development and execution of robust testing strategies. Identify and implement testing best practices that improve team efficiency and product reliability. Create, manage, and maintain automated test frameworks using tools like Selenium WebDriver and TestNG. Execute performance testing using tools like JMeter and analyze system bottlenecks. Perform API testing using REST-based tools such as Postman. Write and execute SQL queries to validate database-driven functionality and back-end data accuracy. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives. Maintain documentation related to test cases, test plans, and quality metrics. Ensure adherence to code versioning and DevOps processes through tools like Git and AWS services. Actively engage in root cause analysis of defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues. Support internal and external audit processes by maintaining testing documentation and compliance artifacts.
