Job Description:

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with 3 to 15 years of experience in performance engineering and non-functional testing. As part of TCS’s technology function, you will play a critical role in ensuring application scalability, reliability, and optimal performance across enterprise systems serving large-scale user bases.
In this role, you will design and execute performance testing strategies for web, mobile, and enterprise applications. You will conduct load testing, stress testing, scalability analysis, and performance benchmarking to identify bottlenecks and system limitations. The position requires hands-on experience with performance testing tools and monitoring solutions to simulate real-world traffic conditions and analyze system behavior under peak loads. You will collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to recommend performance improvements and optimize application architecture.
Beyond execution, the Performance Testing Specialist will contribute to performance engineering best practices, continuous testing strategies, and CI/CD integration. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and experience in root cause analysis are essential. Roles & Responsibilities:

Design and execute performance test plans covering load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.

Monitor server metrics such as CPU, memory, response time, and throughput during test execution.

Conduct root cause analysis for performance issues and provide actionable recommendations.

Integrate performance testing within CI/CD pipelines for continuous performance validation.

Prepare detailed performance reports and present findings to stakeholders.

Validate application stability in high-availability and distributed environments.

Ensure compliance with non-functional requirements (NFRs) and SLA benchmarks.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within performance engineering practices.
Requirements & Eligibility:

3–15 years of experience in performance testing and performance engineering.

Strong understanding of performance testing concepts including load, stress, endurance, and spike testing.

Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar platforms.

Knowledge of monitoring tools for analyzing server and application performance metrics.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for automated performance testing.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify system bottlenecks.
