A key part of your responsibilities includes conducting FAT sessions with customers, supporting field service activities, and providing first-line diagnostics on DeltaV and IT systems. This role demands strong technical skills, deep understanding of networking models, and the ability to interpret customer requirements to deliver robust, scalable, and compliant designs. You will also prepare network and cybersecurity documentation, raise technical queries, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the OT & Cyber team.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end project delivery, from proposal understanding to system implementation and site acceptance.

• Design and configure wired and wireless networks for DeltaV systems and IT infrastructure across industrial environments.

• Install and administer Windows Server environments, including domain setup, remote access, and patch management.

• Support installation, maintenance, and virtualization of DeltaV systems within Windows-based virtualized platforms.

• Provide first-line support for troubleshooting hardware and software issues across both OT and IT systems.

• Analyze customer requirements, participate in technical workshops, and develop OT design documentation.

• Coordinate with overseas engineering teams for technical clarifications, design reviews, and progress reporting.

• Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with customers, preparing test scripts, validating configurations, and resolving issues.

• Escalate risks and issues to Lead Engineers or Project Managers, providing mitigation plans when needed.

• Handle system architecture development, cybersecurity design, and documentation aligned with project standards.

• Provide onsite support, field service, and remote diagnostics in collaboration with Emerson’s field engineering teams.

• Mentor junior team members, foster collaboration, and contribute to team-wide skill development initiatives.

• Continuously enhance technical knowledge, support internal improvement projects, and contribute to group innovation.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Minimum 5 years of experience in networking, IT infrastructure, cyber security, and server management within industrial or enterprise environments.

• Strong knowledge of ISO-OSI layers, Purdue architecture, routers, switches, firewalls, and network hardening techniques.

• Proficiency in Windows Server 2016/2022 administration, domain configuration, RDP services, and patch management.

• Hands-on experience with backup recovery tools like Acronis and antivirus/whitelisting tools such as McAfee or Symantec.

• Working knowledge of Group Policy Management, troubleshooting Windows 10 systems, and managing enterprise networks.

• Networking certifications equivalent to CCENT/CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or strong practical knowledge at similar levels.

• Cybersecurity knowledge at the level of CompTIA Security+ or equivalent industry-recognized certifications.

• Ability to perform OT support activities including remote diagnostics, field service work, and issue escalation.

• Strong collaboration, requirement analysis, documentation, and customer communication abilities.

• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work across diverse industrial environments.
