Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (Cassandra) databases.

• Implement Python-based automation for backend services, ensuring comprehensive validation of microservices and APIs.

• Create and execute automated test cases for geospatial and map-based applications using technologies such as MapBox and EGIS.

• Develop and maintain test automation for big data processing and streaming systems powered by Kafka.

• Conduct UI automation testing for interactive map-based platforms, ensuring responsiveness and data accuracy.

• Design test strategies that cover functional, integration, regression, and performance testing for full-stack applications.

• Test RESTful APIs using Postman or Python libraries to verify proper request handling, response accuracy, and error management.

• Execute automated testing for containerized applications deployed in Docker and Kubernetes environments.

• Identify, analyze, and debug complex issues across backend microservices and frontend components.

• Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality releases with speed and precision.

Requirements & Eligibility

• 5–8 years of professional experience in software test automation and QA engineering.

• Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries like pytest, unittest, or PyMS for building test automation frameworks.

• Hands-on experience with UI automation using tools such as Selenium, particularly for geospatial or map-based interfaces.

• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, API testing, and inter-service communication.

• Familiarity with database testing for SQL and NoSQL systems to ensure data integrity and consistency.

• Knowledge of Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes for testing distributed and containerized applications.

• Proven ability to design robust automation frameworks from scratch for both backend and frontend systems.

• Skilled in creating comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, and performance testing.

• Strong debugging and analytical skills for troubleshooting across multiple technology layers.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional, agile teams.
