Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements and design detailed test cases to validate software functionality and performance.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Perform manual and automated testing, including model-based testing techniques for efficient test generation.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify test requirements and ensure proper version control of test cases.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear replication steps and detailed descriptions.
• Automate testing processes using tools such as VB macros, GUI automation frameworks, and scheduling tools.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure alignment with business expectations.
• Generate and maintain test execution reports, dashboards, and status updates for stakeholders.
• Provide feedback on usability, performance, and serviceability of applications.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, SLAs, and quality standards while maintaining effective communication with clients.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts, including test case design and defect management.
• Basic knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with automation concepts and tools such as VB macros or GUI automation is an advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve software issues.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment and meet deadlines consistently.
• Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and testing frameworks.
• Understanding of test management tools and reporting systems is a plus.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to quality assurance practices.
