Roles & Responsibilities

1. Monitor enterprise network performance using tools such as PRTG, Wireshark, and network monitoring systems to ensure stable infrastructure operations.
2. Respond to first-level network incidents, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and escalate complex technical problems to senior engineers when required.
3. Support the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of switches, wireless access points, firewalls, VPN endpoints, and enterprise network devices.
4. Handle service requests and operational tickets through ITSM platforms such as Freshservice or ManageEngine while ensuring SLA compliance.
5. Assist in maintaining secure and highly available network environments for healthcare and cybersecurity-focused business operations.
6. Maintain accurate technical documentation including network topology diagrams, IP address management records, configuration logs, and change management details.
7. Provide technical support to internal users for wired and wireless connectivity issues, VPN access, printer networking, and peripheral communication problems.
8. Collaborate with system administrators, cybersecurity professionals, and senior engineers to support cross-functional IT infrastructure operations.
9. Participate in rotational shift operations to support 24/7 network monitoring, operational continuity, and incident response requirements.
10. Follow organizational security guidelines, operational procedures, and healthcare compliance policies to ensure secure network management practices.
11. Assist in identifying recurring network issues, documenting root causes, and supporting preventive maintenance activities to improve operational efficiency.
12. Contribute to continuous learning initiatives and develop practical expertise in networking technologies, infrastructure management, and IT operations best practices.

Requirements & Eligibility

1. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Networking, Cybersecurity, or related technical disciplines.
2. Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, wireless networking, VPNs, and firewall operations.
3. Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as PRTG, Wireshark, or equivalent infrastructure monitoring platforms.
4. Knowledge of IT service management tools, ticketing systems, or operational support workflows such as Freshservice or ManageEngine.
5. Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting abilities with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset for network operations tasks.
6. Understanding of enterprise network infrastructure components including switches, routers, wireless access points, VPN endpoints, and security devices.
7. Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within technical support and cross-functional IT teams.
8. Willingness to work in rotational shifts and support 24/7 network operations environments as per business requirements.
9. Awareness of cybersecurity concepts, healthcare compliance standards, or data protection practices such as HIPAA will be beneficial.
10. Ability to maintain technical documentation, operational records, and infrastructure-related reports with accuracy and professionalism.
11. Strong learning attitude and eagerness to gain hands-on experience in enterprise networking, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity operations.
