Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor enterprise network performance using tools such as PRTG, Wireshark, and network monitoring systems to ensure stable infrastructure operations.
- Respond to first-level network incidents, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and escalate complex technical problems to senior engineers when required.
- Support the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of switches, wireless access points, firewalls, VPN endpoints, and enterprise network devices.
- Handle service requests and operational tickets through ITSM platforms such as Freshservice or ManageEngine while ensuring SLA compliance.
- Assist in maintaining secure and highly available network environments for healthcare and cybersecurity-focused business operations.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation including network topology diagrams, IP address management records, configuration logs, and change management details.
- Provide technical support to internal users for wired and wireless connectivity issues, VPN access, printer networking, and peripheral communication problems.
- Collaborate with system administrators, cybersecurity professionals, and senior engineers to support cross-functional IT infrastructure operations.
- Participate in rotational shift operations to support 24/7 network monitoring, operational continuity, and incident response requirements.
- Follow organizational security guidelines, operational procedures, and healthcare compliance policies to ensure secure network management practices.
- Assist in identifying recurring network issues, documenting root causes, and supporting preventive maintenance activities to improve operational efficiency.
- Contribute to continuous learning initiatives and develop practical expertise in networking technologies, infrastructure management, and IT operations best practices.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Networking, Cybersecurity, or related technical disciplines.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, wireless networking, VPNs, and firewall operations.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as PRTG, Wireshark, or equivalent infrastructure monitoring platforms.
- Knowledge of IT service management tools, ticketing systems, or operational support workflows such as Freshservice or ManageEngine.
- Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting abilities with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset for network operations tasks.
- Understanding of enterprise network infrastructure components including switches, routers, wireless access points, VPN endpoints, and security devices.
- Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within technical support and cross-functional IT teams.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts and support 24/7 network operations environments as per business requirements.
- Awareness of cybersecurity concepts, healthcare compliance standards, or data protection practices such as HIPAA will be beneficial.
- Ability to maintain technical documentation, operational records, and infrastructure-related reports with accuracy and professionalism.
- Strong learning attitude and eagerness to gain hands-on experience in enterprise networking, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity operations.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or networking fundamentals training will be considered an added advantage.
Expected Salary
