Job Description:
SAGOUS Software and Services Pvt Ltd is hiring a QA Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to support large-scale Workday HCM and Finance implementations. As a QA Engineer, you will design and execute comprehensive test strategies across Workday Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Talent, and Finance modules. You will validate configurations, perform integration testing for inbound and outbound interfaces, and ensure seamless communication with third-party systems such as payroll vendors and regulatory platforms. The role requires experience in SIT, UAT, regression testing, and release cycles. Strong documentation practices, including traceability matrices and validation scripts, will be essential, especially within regulated environments following GxP and FDA guidelines.
Beyond technical testing, this role emphasizes collaboration with functional consultants, technical teams, and business stakeholders to proactively identify risks and resolve defects. You will conduct impact analysis during Workday releases and contribute to continuous process improvements. Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform end-to-end QA testing across Workday HCM, Finance, and integration modules to ensure accurate system functionality.

Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and validation scripts based on business and functional requirements.

Validate Workday configurations including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, and Talent modules.

Conduct integration testing for inbound and outbound Workday interfaces with third-party systems such as payroll vendors and benefits providers.

Perform data validation, security role testing, and Business Process Framework (BPF) workflow testing.

Support SIT, UAT, regression, and release testing cycles across implementation and enhancement projects.

Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks including GxP and FDA standards during validation and documentation.

Track and manage defects using tools such as ALM and JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.

Prepare comprehensive validation documentation including traceability matrices and defect reports.

Participate in Workday release cycles, conduct impact assessments, and recommend system and process improvements.
Requirements & Eligibility:

3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance with hands-on exposure to Workday HCM and Finance testing.

Strong understanding of Workday modules, configurations, and integration frameworks.

Experience using defect tracking and test management tools such as ALM and JIRA.

Proven expertise in integration testing and validation of third-party system interfaces.

Experience working in regulated environments, with knowledge of GxP and FDA compliance frameworks.

Ability to create and maintain structured test documentation and validation artifacts.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify defects and recommend corrective actions.

Expected Salary:
For a QA Engineer with 3–5 years of Workday testing experience in India, the expected salary typically ranges between ₹8 LPA to ₹15 LPA depending on domain expertise, integration exposure, and compliance knowledge. Compensation may vary based on prior enterprise implementation experience and familiarity with regulated industry standards.
