As a Quality Automation Specialist at NatWest, you will be responsible for enabling and driving automation testing across multiple delivery models. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automation test strategies that align with business objectives and program requirements.

• Collaborate with feature teams to refine testing scope and ensure optimal balance between manual and automated testing.

• Develop, maintain, and execute stable, reusable automation frameworks that support end-to-end testing.

• Contribute to the creation of user documentation, test artefacts, and test plans for both automation and manual execution.

• Drive the adoption of predictive and intelligent testing approaches by leveraging automation and advanced tools.

• Ensure early detection of defects by embedding automation at multiple levels of the development lifecycle.

• Apply delivery standards with a strong focus on compliance, regulatory requirements, and data security.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and accelerate time-to-market.

• Provide insights on automation metrics and quality improvements to management and stakeholders.

• Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation in testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Proven experience in automation testing within Agile and CI/CD environments.

• Hands-on expertise with Java and Selenium for end-to-end test automation.

• Strong background in designing, developing, and implementing automation frameworks from scratch.

• In-depth understanding of Agile practices, with the ability to connect testing activities to strategic business goals.

• Ability to design and write complex automation code for scalable, reusable, and maintainable solutions.

• Strong knowledge of test lifecycle processes, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

• Familiarity with delivery standards, compliance, and regulatory requirements in financial services.

• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to peers and senior management.

• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; certifications in test automation are a plus.

Expected Salary:
