Job Description

NatWest Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Automation Specialist to join its Technology Quality team in Chennai, India. In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking and enabling automated testing activities across various delivery models. Your primary focus will be to support teams in developing quality solutions and ensuring the continuous integration and defect-free deployment of customer value.

You will collaborate closely with feature teams and a variety of stakeholders, providing you with excellent exposure to professional development opportunities. This position offers a chance to contribute to the transformation of testing processes, tools, and methodologies, significantly improving control, accuracy, and integrity throughout the product lifecycle.

By ensuring that quality is built into all phases of the development process, you will help reduce costs and time to market, while identifying defects as early as possible.

Technical Skills:
Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Silk, UFT, and UiPath.
Proficiency in automation frameworks like TestNG, Cucumber, Keyword Driven, and Hybrid.
Hands-on experience with UiPath RPA automation tool.
Familiarity with mainframe tools like CA-View, CA7, File-AID, JCL, DB2, SQL, CICS, TSYS TS2.
Experience in end-to-end and automation testing using the latest tools as recommended by the enterprise tooling framework.
Background in designing, developing, and implementing automation frameworks in new environments.

Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to management-level colleagues.
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

✅ Estimated Salary (Industry Standard)
Monthly Salary: ₹1,25,000 – ₹2,08,000
Annual CTC: ₹15 LPA – ₹25 LPA

Responsibilities
As a Quality Automation Specialist at NatWest Group, your key responsibilities will include: Test Strategy Design: Support the design of automation test strategies aligned with business or program goals. Predictive Testing Approaches: Develop more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions. Scope Refinement: Collaborate to refine the scope of manual and automated testing required, including the creation of automated test scripts, user documentation, and artifacts. Automation Suite Development: Design and create a low-maintenance suite of stable, reusable automated tests that are applicable both within the product or domain and across domains and systems in an end-to-end capacity. Standards Application: Apply testing and delivery standards by understanding the product development lifecycle, along with mandatory, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
