Roles & Responsibilities:
- Test and maintain software applications and related programs using modern testing tools, ensuring they meet customer requirements and quality standards before release.
- Collaborate with development and business teams to understand the technology stack and its impact on business outcomes, ensuring aligned testing strategies.
- Identify process bottlenecks and inefficiencies in workflows, proactively suggesting improvements to enhance testing efficiency and delivery timelines.
- Define and track success metrics for process improvements, ensuring measurable enhancements in testing performance and quality.
- Research and recommend suitable testing frameworks, tools, and architectural patterns to improve overall testing capabilities.
- Contribute to product development by capturing customer feedback and communicating insights to improve user experience and functionality.
- Perform unit testing and support efforts to achieve operational excellence, focusing on scalability, resiliency, and system performance.
- Prepare detailed test documentation, including test cases, execution reports, and defect logs, ensuring traceability and compliance.
- Mentor junior team members and share knowledge, helping build a strong and collaborative QA culture within the team.
- Support team goals by reviewing skill requirements and contributing to resource planning and capability building initiatives.
Requirements & Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE) from a Tier II institute in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, ensuring a solid technical foundation.
- Prior experience or internship exposure in software testing or quality assurance roles, demonstrating practical understanding of testing processes.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC), enabling structured testing approaches.
- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and environments quickly.
- Ability to identify inefficiencies in processes and recommend improvements, showcasing analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset, ensuring accurate defect identification and quality validation.
- Basic understanding of automation testing concepts is an added advantage, helping in scaling testing processes.
- Ability to mentor and guide team members, contributing to knowledge sharing and team development.
- Self-motivated and proactive attitude, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
