Job Overview

The Quality Services (QS) team at Amazon provides testing support for products across Devices, Retail, and AWS platforms. The primary focus of this role is manual software testing, ensuring that applications and systems meet quality standards before release.

As an Associate, Quality Services, you will execute test cases based on predefined instructions, record accurate results, and follow structured testing processes to maintain high product quality.

Key Responsibilities

Test Execution

• Execute manual test cases according to documented test instructions.

• Perform testing tasks accurately while meeting daily productivity targets.

• Ensure all testing activities follow established quality processes.

Application Understanding

• Learn and understand the application testing procedures and testing tools used by the team.

• Gain familiarity with the product functionality before executing tests.

Reporting & Documentation

• Report test results accurately and promptly.

• Identify and report any deviations, issues, or defects observed during testing.

Process Compliance

• Stay updated on changes in test instructions and procedures.

• Follow defined testing workflows and documentation standards.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline.

• Basic knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies and testing tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of software testing concepts such as:

  • Manual testing

  • Test cases and test scenarios

  • Defect reporting

• Ability to complete assigned testing tasks accurately and on time.
