Spektra Systems: Test Engineer Trainee

Spektra Systems is inviting fresh graduates and final-year students to begin their QA journey as Test Engineer Trainees. Based in Bengaluru, this role offers a 3-month training program that could potentially lead to a full-time role, based solely on performance and monthly evaluations. If you are someone with a strong eye for detail, passion for technology, and an eagerness to learn software testing both manually and through automation, this role is tailored for you.

The internship is set to start in January 2026 (tentative), offering hands-on experience in the software development lifecycle, using tools like Azure DevOps, and exposure to real-world QA scenarios. You will get to collaborate with developers, testers, and project teams to ensure bug-free, quality-driven software releases.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements, analyze documents, and determine test coverage

• Prepare and maintain test case repositories on Azure DevOps

• Design, document, and execute test scenarios and test data

• Log and track defects with detailed documentation until closure

• Conduct manual testing and assist in building automation test suites for regression cycles

• Work independently with minimal supervision and follow through assigned tasks

• Perform regression testing on updated builds

• Provide detailed defect reports and assist developers in debugging

• Participate in performance reviews and evaluations during internship

Requirement & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field (or final-year student)

• Strong knowledge of Manual Testing, with basic exposure to Automation Testing

• Understanding of STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) and QA processes

• Good grasp of SQL and ability to write complex queries

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)

• Willingness to learn tools like Azure DevOps and collaborate across teams

• Eagerness to work in a dynamic and growth-oriented QA environment

Stipend & Hiring Structure
💰 ₹10,000/month during the 3-month internship period (performance-based eligibility)
📅 Monthly evaluations and performance feedback will be conducted
🔁 Based on performance, trainees may receive a full-time offer from Month 4
📌 Non-performers may be released post the training cycle

Expected Full-Time Salary Post-Internship
💼 ₹3 LPA – ₹4.2 LPA (industry average for fresher QA roles in Bengaluru based on AmbitionBox & peer firms)
