Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test robust software applications that align with Rubrik’s data security mission.

Collaborate with engineers to deploy, maintain, and continuously improve systems and applications.

Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with accountability.

Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the software stack, ensuring performance optimization.

Work with senior engineers to debug, troubleshoot, and enhance system functionalities.

Participate in design discussions and propose innovative solutions to real-world challenges.

Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from planning to production-ready code.

Gain exposure to secure coding practices and enterprise-grade architecture.

Document project progress, technical findings, and knowledge for team-wide use.

Demonstrate ownership, curiosity, and adaptability while contributing to diverse engineering initiatives.

Requirements & Eligibility

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

Minimum CGPA of 8 and above with expected graduation in 2026.

Available to join onsite internship in Bangalore from January 2026 to May 2026 (no remote option).

Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C/C++, Scala, or Python.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate concepts into code.

Eagerness to learn, innovate, and contribute independently as a self-starter.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teams.

Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.

Exposure to distributed systems, cloud computing, or security concepts is an added advantage.

Passion for building high-quality software with a growth mindset.

Expected Salary

The Software Engineer Winter Internship at Rubrik offers a highly competitive stipend for top-tier talent in Bangalore. Based on market benchmarks for similar roles, interns can expect a monthly stipend in the range of ₹50,000 to ₹70,000.
