Infosys is hiring for the role of Python Selenium Automation Testing Engineer for its Bangalore development center. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts, enhancing testing frameworks, and ensuring software quality through efficient test automation solutions.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Test Automation:

• Design and develop automated test scripts using Python and Selenium WebDriver.

• Maintain and improve existing automation test suites.

• Implement reusable functions and modules to increase test efficiency.

• Ensure comprehensive test coverage for both functional and regression scenarios.

🔹 Test Framework Management:

• Build and enhance automation frameworks (PyTest/Unittest).

• Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (using Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

• Develop test execution reports and dashboards.

🔹 Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Perform automated regression and sanity testing for product releases.

• Document and report test results and raise bugs with detailed reproduction steps.

• Work closely with the development team to ensure timely bug fixes.

🔹 Collaboration & Communication:

• Partner with product owners, developers, and other QA engineers to identify high-value test cases.

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Share knowledge through documentation and peer learning sessions.

🎓 Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in test automation.

• Strong programming knowledge in Python.

• Proven hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver for web application testing.

• Sound understanding of automation test strategy, test data management, and debugging.

• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.

• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

✅ Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BDD tools like Behave or Cucumber.

• Knowledge of Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes in a DevOps environment.

• Familiarity with Cloud Testing Platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.

• ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications.

• Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is an added advantage.

💰 Salary Range (Estimated)

• Monthly Salary: ₹58,000 – ₹83,000 (based on skills and experience)

• Annual CTC: ₹7.0 LPA – ₹10.0 LPA

Note: Final compensation may vary as per company policy, negotiation, and candidate expertise.
