Job Description

Wipro is hiring an AWS DevOps Engineer to design, build, and optimize secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions. In this role, you’ll be responsible for infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline management, serverless architecture, data integration, and cloud security enforcement. This position is ideal for engineers with strong expertise in AWS services, Terraform, Jenkins, and DevOps best practices who are passionate about enabling enterprise-scale digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

• Design and deploy serverless applications with AWS Lambda to ensure scalability and cost optimization.

• Manage data storage, integration, and backups using AWS S3 and AWS Glue.

• Ensure secure cloud operations by managing IAM roles, policies, and permissions.

• Use AWS KMS for encryption and key management to safeguard sensitive data.

• Implement cloud monitoring and logging solutions to maintain performance and troubleshoot production issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud engineering (minimum 6 years in AWS environments preferred).

• Hands-on expertise with AWS Lambda, CloudFormation, S3, IAM, KMS, Glue, Terraform, Jenkins.

• Strong knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in complex cloud environments.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (or similar AWS certifications) highly desirable.

Mandatory Skills

• DevOps (core expertise required).

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent).

• Cloud certifications preferred.

Expected Salary
