Job Description

ColorTokens Inc. is seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer specializing in Automation, Manual Testing, and Cloud/AI technologies to join its engineering team in Bengaluru. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of cybersecurity solutions delivered through the company’s advanced microsegmentation platform. As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in validating complex cloud-based and SaaS applications that protect enterprise systems from ransomware and advanced cyber threats. The position requires hands-on expertise in test automation, cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and monitoring tools to ensure high-quality software delivery across distributed systems.

In this role, you will collaborate with software developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to build automated testing frameworks and ensure seamless release cycles. The position involves validating new cloud and AI-driven features while maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows. As part of the quality assurance team, you will contribute to improving test coverage, optimizing release management processes, and identifying gaps between SaaS and on-premise deployments. Your work will help ensure that mission-critical security products operate reliably across multiple environments and meet enterprise-grade performance requirements.

Additionally, the QA Engineer will focus on improving observability and monitoring systems by implementing logging, metrics, and alerting frameworks. By leveraging modern testing tools, containerized infrastructure, and cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, you will support the delivery of secure and resilient cybersecurity solutions. Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks that support continuous testing across cloud-based and SaaS applications.

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate application builds, deployments, and post-deployment validation processes across different environments.

• Perform comprehensive manual and automated testing to validate functionality, performance, and security of new software features and updates.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure that newly developed features meet functional and quality requirements.

• Implement monitoring and observability systems using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog to track application performance and system health.

• Analyze logs, metrics, and alerts to identify system issues and ensure rapid resolution of performance or reliability problems.

• Identify and bridge operational gaps between SaaS and on-premise deployments to ensure consistent application performance across environments.

• Contribute to the DevOps strategy by enhancing automation workflows, improving infrastructure reliability, and supporting scalable deployment architectures.

• Participate in debugging complex infrastructure or application issues while maintaining detailed documentation of testing processes and results.

• Support the overall quality assurance lifecycle including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and release validation for mission-critical software systems.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

• 6–12 years of professional experience in software testing, automation engineering, or quality assurance roles within cloud-based or SaaS environments.

• Strong programming and scripting skills using languages such as Python or Bash for building automation frameworks and testing workflows.

• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform for managing infrastructure configuration and automated deployments.

• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability platforms including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog for tracking system performance.

• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

• Experience working with public cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Helm used for managing cloud-native applications.

• Knowledge of database systems such as PostgreSQL and experience working with structured and unstructured datasets.

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze complex infrastructure and application issues.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities with the capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.

Expected Salary

The typical salary for a QA Engineer specializing in automation testing and cloud technologies in India ranges between ₹18 LPA to ₹35 LPA, depending on experience, technical expertise, and knowledge of DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
